Aguya would ordinarily have been sent to recuperate from her injuries in her room in the servants' quarters. Except Fire Lord Sozin insisted she stayed in the infirmary for better care. He did allow her family and best friend to visit her in the evening. Again, everyone else believed Sozin was being nice and attempting to be an acceptable leader to his people. The royal physician had estimated it would take at least six weeks for her cracked ribs to mend, so she was on strict bed rest until further notice.
